Oliver Drümmer

Oliver Drümmer is co-founder and managing partner of BSL Transportation Consultants. His initial training in banking was followed by a degree in Business Administration at the University of Hamburg. During this period he was already working as a student assistant for a Hamburg consulting firm with a focus on local passenger transport and local rail transport.

In 1997, on completing his studies, he switched to the consulting side, and until May 2010 he worked for BSL Managementberatung (later BSL Management Consultants). As director and “Prokurist” (holder of general commercial power of attorney), he was responsible for the Fleet Management competence centre and was closely involved in the international consulting business.

For BSL Transportation, Oliver Drümmer is principally concerned with issues in the fields of asset management and corporate strategy and performance. Examples of his involvement in this context include benchmark activities, holistic business restructuring processes, market studies, cooperation projects, M&A projects and the development of appropriate asset management strategies. Currently Oliver Drümmer is supporting various clients in the optimisation of their organisational and operational structures within the area of asset management. Another important field of activity are tasks in corporate management and planning.

Oliver Drümmer is married, and when he gets away from the office he enjoys spending time with his two children. If time permits, he likes to play tennis, read a good book or discuss with his colleagues how to read the German football league table correctly.
