
Aljoscha Minnich joined BSL Transportation Consultants as a Consultant in May 2024. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics in Münster in 2016 and his Master’s degree in Development Economics in Göttingen in 2019. During his studies, he spent semesters abroad in Indonesia (Universitas Udayana) and Mexico (Universidad de Guadalajara). He completed his doctoral studies in Economics with a focus on Behavioural Economics at the University of Hamburg in 2024.
Aljoscha Minnich has conducted research as a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization and as a research associate at the University of Hamburg. His research topics included demand-responsive transportation in rural areas, incentive schemes in the transport sector, and informal transport. He acquired extensive knowledge of quantitative analysis methods and developed an interest in mobility and transportation.
In his private life, Aljoscha Minnich enjoys travelling by bicycle. He is also very interested in sports, especially surfing, beach volleyball and more recently fitness.
